Georgia Teacher of the Week

Georgia Teacher of the Week is a teacher-recognition partnership between the College Football Playoff (CFP) Foundation and Teach in the Peach that will recognize Georgia educators throughout the school year. Teachers may be nominated by members of their school communities, and selected educators receive $1,000 in Donors Choose funding to support their classrooms. Georgia’s recognition is part of a broader CFP Foundation effort spanning Georgia, Houston, Miami, and Las Vegas, representing more than $150,000 in teacher support across the four markets. In Georgia, the initiative builds on teacher-recognition efforts launched by CFP Foundation and the Georgia Department of Education around the 2025 College Football Playoff National Championship and the Georgia Teachers Initiative platform.
