Dr. Juléa Eppinger is a native of Atlanta and a product of Fulton County schools. Juléa earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from Albany State University. She also earned a masters in Psychology and Elementary Education. Dr. Eppinger earned her doctorate in Education from The University of Miami. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and running her multiple businesses.

Teaching is both rewarding and challenging. Approach it with patience, flexibility, and a willingness to keep learning. The educators who have the greatest impact are often those who continually reflect, adapt, and celebrate even the smallest successes with their students.
Give yourself permission to grow. You don’t have to be a perfect teacher on day one. Focus on creating a positive classroom environment, building strong relationships with your students, and being consistent with your expectations. Every day is an opportunity to learn, reflect, and improve.
After 13 years in education, I continue to stay because I know the impact a dedicated teacher can have on a child’s life. Watching students grow, gain confidence, and achieve their goals is incredibly rewarding. Every school year brings new opportunities to learn, make a difference, and inspire the next generation.
I wanted to teach in an urban school system for several reasons; close proximity, familiarity with the inter-city demographics and I felt that it was a greater need where I could be most supportive.Non-traditional completed a graduated program that led to initial certification.
