Mr. Pitts will use the Teacher Grant for Innovation to equip Newton College and Career Academy engineering and manufacturing students with the skills demanded by a rapidly evolving local workforce. Designed collaboratively with students, teachers, educational leaders, and local industry partners, this program reimagines traditional classroom learning by integrating real-world problem-solving with STEM-focused education. Specifically, this initiative introduces a rare and transformative approach to education, empowering students to design and build electric cars while mastering electronics, engineering, and manufacturing principles.
